American Red Cross Blood Services of Northern New England and Giovanni joins forces to turn New England into the "Life Saving States"  and add 100k new donors

The Red Cross has joined Giovanni's mission to make New England the "Life Saving States" by adding 100,000 donors to the International Bone Marrow Registry and saving hundreds of lives. The Red Cross helped save Giovanni and together they hope to abate our country's critical blood shortage threatening the lives of our loved ones. Giovanni wants you: Please donate blood and bone marrow today.

Thank you Victoria Li and family, townspeople, and the Connecticut Red Cross Blood Services for adding 30 life-saving bone marrow donors to the registry.

 

We welcome the Connecticut American Red Cross Blood Services for joining Team Giovanni for its first Save Giovanni's Friends Blood and Bone Marrow Drive. OUr first joint effort recruited 167 potential life saving donors for a per drive average of 33.4, which is over 1 and a 1/2 time the national average of 20 peopl eper drive.

 

Thank you University of Connecticut students, partucularly Daily Campus reporter Caitlin Emma for becoming the 13,000 donor to register at a Giovanni drive, and the American Red Cross Blood Services for adding 167-life saving bone marrow donors to the international bone marrow registry.
